We handle the scheduling so nothing overlaps.

2

Add it to your registry

Copy your unique link and paste it into Babylist, Poppylist, MyRegistry, or any universal registry. It lives right alongside your stroller and sleep sack.

3

Your village finds you

Friends and family claim slots on their own: a home-cooked meal, a delivery order, or a gift card.

No nudging needed.

Setting up your table

Is the Village Table really free?

Yes, completely. No subscription, no hidden fees, no credit card required. The Village Table is free for the mom and free for everyone in her village.

Do I need to create an account?

No account needed. You fill out a short form to set your preferences, then create a private Owner PIN before your Village Table goes live. That PIN is yours to keep. No login, no password reset emails, just your PIN whenever you need to get back in and make changes.

What kind of preferences can I set?

You can share your dietary needs, food allergies, flavor preferences, and anything your village should know before they cook or order. The goal is to make sure every meal that shows up is one you'll actually want to eat.

Can I accept both home-cooked meals and restaurant delivery?

Yes. Your village can bring a home-cooked meal, place a delivery order, or send a gift card. You decide what you're open to, and they decide what works best for them.

What if my needs change after I've already shared my link?

You can update your Village Table at any time. Just visit your link and enter your Owner PIN to get back in, make your changes, and save. Anyone who visits after you update will see the current version.

How do I add my Village Table to my registry?

Copy your Village Table link and add it as a custom item on your registry. On MyRegistry and Poppylist, the title and image fill in automatically. On Babylist, paste your link, then add the title "My Village Table," set the price to 0, and upload the image we provide on your share screen. It takes about thirty seconds, and your village will see it right alongside your other gifts.

Can I add it to my Amazon registry?

Amazon no longer allows items from outside their store to be added to a registry, so the Village Table cannot live there directly. It works beautifully on universal registries like Babylist, Poppylist, and MyRegistry, and you can always share your link by text, email, or social media so your village can find it.
For your village

Do I need to create an account to claim a meal slot?

No. You visit the link, pick a date that works for you, and claim it. No login, no profile, no extra steps.

What if I don't cook? Can I still participate?

Absolutely. If the mom has indicated she's open to delivery or gift cards, you can support her that way. Not everyone in a village cooks, and that's exactly the point.

How will I know what she actually wants?

Her preferences are right there on her Village Table page. You'll see her dietary needs, anything to avoid, and any notes she's left for her village before you commit to a slot. If you still have questions, her partner or a close friend will be your best resource.

What if I claim a slot and something comes up?

Life happens. When you confirm your slot, you'll receive an email with all your details and a cancellation link. If your plans change, just click that link and your slot will open back up. When you know what works, visit her Village Table again and sign up for a new date.
About My True Village

Who created the Village Table and why?

The Village Table was created by Mari Serrano, founder of My True Village. After experiencing the postpartum period herself and feeling the gap when family support faded and no real system was in place, she built the tool she wished had existed. The Village Table is for every new mom who doesn't know how to ask for help but needs it anyway.

Is my information shared with anyone?

Your information is only shared with the people you choose to send your link to. My True Village does not sell or share your data with third parties.

About the founder

Built from
lived experience.

I became a mom and suddenly understood something no one had warned me about. It wasn't just the exhaustion or the healing; it was the quiet awkwardness of needing help and not knowing how to ask for it.

My True Village was born from that feeling. I built it because I wished it existed: a place where the people who love you can show up without being prompted, without a link being sent with an apology attached. A place where both moms and their village can return to for postpartum resources and support.

I'm Mari. New mom, former VC and startup co-builder, and someone who believes the fourth trimester deserves better infrastructure. This is my contribution to that.

The Village Table is live. Free to use, always.
